Measure Guidelines
Step: 01
Measure the top, center, and bottom widths of the opening. SELECT THE SHORTEST WIDTH DIMENSION.
Step: 02
Measure the left, center, and right heights of the opening. SELECT THE SHORTEST HEIGHT DIMENSION.
Step: 03
Ensure the side surfaces are flat and parallel to each other. These surfaces will be used to mount the zip tracks of your shades.
OPENING TOP VIEW
This example shows that the two side surfaces of the opening columns are flat and parallel to each other. This condition is acceptable.
This example shows that the two side surfaces of the opening columns are not flat nor parallel to each other. This condition is not acceptable.
Step: 04
Ensure the top surface is flat and perpendicular to both column side surfaces. This surface will be used to mount the roller shades assembly/housing.
OPENING FRONT VIEW
This example shows that the top surface of the opening is straight and perpendicular to both column side surfaces. This condition is good.
This example shows that the top surface of the opening not straight nor perpendicular to both column side surfaces. This condition is not acceptable.
